The Twilight Awesomeness (and other things I talk about!)

Dudes You'll Never Guess!
I saw the Twilight movie yesterday! (Jen was there too but she's not here now so I'll just tell you what I thought) I think it's the best book-turned-movie I've ever seen. They may not have cast it perfect (*coughJasperSUCKScough*) but over all they did really well (perfect Bella, really good Edward, Emse was taken straight from my head, etc... except Carlise... he looked to... sneaky I think, i don't I'm weird like that), I was majorly impressed! Actually I'm still on a little bit of a buzz from it. Edward was the casting that, orginally, worried me the most but from the first time he did that little half smirk half smile (I call it a smirkle but I couldn't expect you all to know that!) I knew he was perfect! I cannot wait for number 2! Also I kind of hope it comes out on a Saturday so I can go see the midnight showing... but if not there's gotta be a way to be up until four and still be at school by eight... oh right... it's called cofffee!
So anyway, you guys know Jen and I write fanfiction so I don't feel like a total nerd telling you this. I just finished my first multichaptered story on there. I've working on it for almost a year and it's 23 chapters long. It's called the Lioness Diaries and it's really loosely modeled after the Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot (like really loosely... like I used the same format and nothing else loosely) and I don't feel braggy telling you all this because I don't figure that many people read our blog, I love it. I think it's funny (I wrote it and it still makes me laugh)and original, and odd-in-cool-ish-way. It has (as of this morning) over 11000 hits and 106 reviews (all good, in case you were wondering) one reviewer wrote, and I quote, "It was an absolutely wonderful way to end the story. Very much looking forward to the sequel. Reading this always felt like listening to a friend tell her stories, something that I liked about it. Can't wait for the sequel!" I actually like hopped around in my desk chair for joy when I read that! it was so unbelievably nice (and it was from someone who's been reading since like the fourth chapter, so that made it extra nice).
I don't know I just wanted to talk for a while... I'm going to leave all my Christians friends with this (non Christians if you're offended by my faith you are on the wrong blog and this next part will probably freak you out so... sorry)
A verse in the Bible talks about the truth in love, in our society the emphasis of this verse has been shifted to the truth, I think the emphasis should be moved back to the love. The two most important commandments (and Jesus said this but I'm paraphrasing) Love the your GOD with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Not tell your neighbor when they're screwing up any time they do so you should confront them about it. Confrontation has been made so much easier by technology, who needs to do awkward things face-to-face? Why not text or IM or throw it into the blog-o-sphere or email (Do you know how tacty it is to break-up/ confront anyone any of these ways? And yet people do it all the time... would it not kill you if someone broke up with you or hurt you online for everyone to see?)?
And now I leave you with a quote: "aspire to inspire before you expire".
Toodles (oh dear I just quoted HSM... I may therapy for this)
Barry
PS once again I will eventually edit these, if you see a mistake please feel free to A) let me know B) offer to beta/edit for me or C) sit quietly and let it bug you (because it doesn't bug me)
